Mini Vacation

We went to Orlando for a couple of nights. We took our friends Becky and Rob with us. They have two children close to our kids ages. We had a great time. On our way down we went to the zoo in Tampa. Gavin loved the zoo. It was his first trip there. He actually laughed out loud at the funny looking animals. Miles noticed lots of things at the zoo this time. Including the boy parts on the rhinoceros. He asked in a rather loud voice what it was. There was a family standing close by and in our efforts to try and come up with something intelligent to say we took our time answering him. I'm assuming this only increased his curiosity so he kept asking us. Needless to say the family beside us was getting a kick out of the whole thing. Ah, the innocence of children! Then we headed to Orlando where we hung out for a couple of days. We didn't do the whole Disney thing because of our last experience there. Instead we hung out at our place. The Marriot we stayed at was awesome. It had a great indoor playground, pools, and paddle boats. A family at our church offered a few days to us because they could not stay the whole week. It was nice to relax and to hang out with our friends. We also went to Hard Rock Cafe, played putt putt, and walked around City Walk. It was a lot of fun. The vacation went surprising well considering we had four toddlers on the trip!!

Miles and his friend Drew. We were waiting to get on the paddle boats.

Miles first putt putt experience. He was getting lessons from dad.

Here's some of what the "big boys" did on our vacation.
Gavin is playing in the indoor playground. Unlike his brother, Gavin has no fear.

Miles in the indoor playground at our place.
Miles is feeding the giraffes with daddy. He was more interested in watching than participating.
