Easter Fun
We had a busy weekend. I took Miles to his first movie in the movie theater. He saw "Horton Hears a Who"! He enjoyed it and the movie was cute. Saturday we decided to take Miles to an easter egg at the Calusa Nature Center. You had to pay to get in so we thought it would be a great easter egg hunt. Miles was so excited. They advertised carnival games, a bounce house, and easter egg hunts every half hour. The games were so bad. One of the games required you to pick a duck from a little pool and that was how many tickets you got for a prize. Seriously, we could have come up with that type of games at the house. Anyhow, then we went for the easter egg hunt. Miles got one egg. No joke. They didn't have it divided by age group so of course the older kids were faster and better at hunting. Miles was about to cry when it was over. Honestly I was ready to cry myself. He had been so excited about it all week. Lesson to self, do own easter egg hunt next year!! The people running the place felt bad and gave him five more eggs, but by this time Gerald and I were so mad that we paid money for this that we left. The rest of the weekend went well. We gave the kids their Easter baskets and they loved them. We went to church on Sunday and then went over to Ann Clark's house. She cooks Easter lunch for the pastoral staff at our church. We had a feast! Below are photos of our Easter weekend.

I'm sorry the Nature Center was such a flop! Sounds like the rest of the weeked was fun! Miles looks handsome with his haircut! And Gavin looks so grown up in just a few weeks! Have we been gone that long??!! ~Becky
They do look very handsome in their Easter outfits...and BIG...wow, they look so grown up Tammy!!! I'm so sad for Miles' one egg. The look on his face was like "are you kidding me, this is all I get???" Sorry ya'll had a bad experience with egg hunting.

Gavin and Miles are getting so big!!!! Gavin looks just like Tammy, and Miles looks like a little man. y'all have a beautiful family! we can't wait to see you guys this summer.
