Family Photos

One thing that makes me extremely happy is family photos. I love to have pictures of my kids. They are only little once and I want to memorize every little expression and phase. As bad as my memory is I know that as much as I want to remember I will forget. My solution to this problem is to take pictures. Pictures jog your memory. So, we spend a good amount of time taking pictures. I couldn't decide which one's to put on here so I included a lot of them. These are Gavin's one year and Miles 3 year photos.

The last month has been a blur! I had to go home to Georgia right after Gavin's birthday party unexpectedly. My best friend's father died from cancer. He left quite a legacy behind. He was a man that lived his life following the Lord and he taught me a lot over the years. He will be missed! While I was in GA I got the flu. Gerald passed me his germs right before I left:) He came down with the flu the night of Gavin's party. I ended up staying in GA for two weeks because I had driven and didn't feel up to making the drive 9 hours back by myself. My mom came back with me which made the ride much easier. We have just been really busy lately. I guess with two little one's that is to be expected. Gavin took his first steps when we were home visiting my mom. He is officially walking. He is at such a fun stage right now. I am taking in every minute of it. Miles conversations have matured lately and it is so funny to hear the things that come out of his mouth. The other day he told me that my hair looked like hay. I wasn't sure if he knew what hay was so I asked him. He said that hay is what cow's eat. I have to admit I was in desperate need of a haircut.

As you can tell in this photo Gavin has crazy curly hair that grows very quickly!!

Miles has finally grown enough in the past few months that his legs reach the pedals on his bike. He is loving riding.
Gavin is an active little one! He loves exploring cabinets and getting into everything when you have your back turned. In this photo he is trying to eat uncooked taco shells. Oh yeah, did I mention he will also eat ANYTHING!!

Gavin loves to wave at everyone now. We will be out and about and I will see someone waving at us and then I notice Gavin is waving.
