The house is coming along great. The inside will be completely painted today and the tile in the bathrooms will be finished. Gerald will start laying the pergo floors in the formal dining room, kitchen, and the eat in kitchen today. The goal is to finish that this weekend. The carpet goes in next week. We don't have an exact date yet, but once that is done we are ready to move in. Our appliances come in on Tuesday. I posted a few photos. It's kind of hard to tell from the pictures, but I hope to get some more to post today. It's looking great. I feel like we are gutting the house and redoing it. We're putting in all new floors, painting, new appliances, blinds, adding knobs to the cabinets, new facets, door handles, fans.......it will seem like a new house when we're finished. It's turning out so great that we feel like it must be someone else's house. The Lord has blessed us more than we could have asked or hoped for in this house. He is so good to us!! Now we're just ready to live in it. We're so excited!!

This picture is looking into the master bedroom. Off the master is a sitting room. We will probably use it as a play room so toys will no longer overrun our living room!! We will keep the french doors closed and hang a curtain so we don't have to look at the toys. At least that is the plan for now.
This is a photo of the formal dining room. It has already been painted. The color looks a little different in person. The formal living and dining room are the first rooms in the house. We are replacing the carpet with pergo in the dining area and carpet in the formal living room.

Busy Boys

We have been busy getting things together for our new house. We're going to lay all new floors and paint before we move in. We're really excited about our new adventure. We've been running all over town trying to find the best deals. Yesterday we bought all new appliances to be installed after we move in. The one's that are in there now are very basic. Anyhow, we close on May the 2nd. In the meantime, before things get too crazy, I have been trying to take the boys out to play. Below are some photos from our last few trips to Lakes Park. You will notice jackets in some of the photos. It was actually cool enough for coats today. After today we can probably put them away until next October(if we are lucky).

Number Three

No, I'm not pregnant. Number three is referring to how many times I have had the flu this year. I'm recovering from my third flu. I'm so tired of being sick. Now Gavin is running a fever. Hopefully this will be the end of sickness for a long while!! I am way behind on updating the blog! We are currently in the process of buying a house. We were blessed to find a foreclosed home and we should close at the end of this month. We have been busy picking out carpet, paint, furniture, and all other kinds of things. It is foreclosed so it needs a little care, but nothing major.

As I was in here tying this Miles is in his room playing. I love the moments when he gets consumed in his play. To be honest it really isn't that often. Anyway, while he was in there I heard him praying and he said "Dear Jesus you are awesome. You are good. Thank for always coming through. Thank you for my mommy. Amen". It's so fun to hear them pray when your not in there directing it. Sometimes I don't know where he comes up with things. The other day he was talking really loud. By the way, he always talks really loud and Gerald asked him why he was talking so loud. Miles said "because it is the way I am made". What can you say to that??
